Dangerous Goods The following dangerous goods cannot be carried as either checked or carry-on baggage. Explosives (inc. fireworks), compressed gases (inc. butane gas cassettes and O2 bottles for sport use), flammable liquids and solids (inc.(*1)excessive volume of matches and lighters, alcoholic beverages exceeding (*2)70pct), poisons including all kinds of insecticides (spray, smoke, non-smoke, powder-type and so on), corrosives, oxidizing materials, radioactive materials and any other items which may endanger the flight.
Carriers with Endorsement Waiver Agreement Japan Airlines International (JALI) and each of the following carriers have commercial agreements wherein endorsement will be waived on your passenger tickets for the flights to be changed from the respective carriers to JALI or v.v. between Japan and each country of origin of the respective carriers. For details,please contact JAL office or respective carriers. We will not be liable for any loss of or damage to such articles. We shall not be liable for any damage to fragile articles such as musical instruments, sports equipments (surfboard, scuba gear, ice skate, bicycle etc.), ceramics, glass articles, liquors etc. Further, baggage is designed to protect the contents. We do not assume liability for minor damage, such as scratches, scuffs, dents, cuts, and dirt resulting from normal wear and tear, over packing, over weight baggage; loss of detachable parts such as wheels, handles, name tags, and belts. Carriage of Animals Carriage of animal is limited to some pets. Please check with the nearest JAL office or Reservations for details. Communication Assistance Communication device for guests with hearing and speech impairment is available at the ticket counter of all airports and city branch offices in Japan and in the cabin of all our aircraft. Boards are specially designed for JAL GROUP and may be used for written communication. |
