If you're familiar with Tokyo's Asakusa area then you will find Osu just as lively. There is a temple enshrining a Kannon (a form of Buddha) image that is the focal point of local worshippers who fondly call it The Kannon-san of Osu with many other historical temples also to be found in the vicinity. Large electrical appliance shops and shops selling Japanese animation collectibles that have opened recently are a few of the town's newest attractions. |
